Terms of Service

By registering on tomaraki. (to-maraki.gr) you fully accept these Terms of Service. If you disagree, please do not proceed with registration.
1. The Platform
tomaraki. is a free social platform for tennis players. It provides social features for all users, as well as competitive features — challenges, tournaments, ATT rating and match recording — exclusively for users aged 18 and over. It does not provide courts, referees or any physical infrastructure.
2. Registration & Verification
- Registration requires mobile phone verification via SMS code (OTP). Each mobile number may only be used for one account.
- Registration details must be truthful and accurate. False information results in immediate removal.
- Minimum age: 15 years.
- Each user may have only one account.
3. Minor users (ages 15–17)
- Users aged 15–17 may consent on their own to data processing under Article 21 of Law 4624/2019. Parental consent is not required.
- Minor users have access only to social features: profile creation, posting, messaging other users and viewing the ATT ranking.
- They do not have access to: Challenges, match result recording, ATT scoring (they earn no points), tournaments or any competitive feature.
- Minors do not appear in the ATT ranking and cannot arrange in-person meetings/matches through the platform.
- Upon turning 18, the user will be asked to verify their mobile number, solely to ensure account uniqueness.
- The platform automatically enforces these restrictions based on the age verified at registration.
4. Disclaimer — In-Person Meetings
Challenges and tournaments involve adult users (18+) exclusively. tomaraki. bears no liability, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, for anything that occurs before, during or after in-person meetings/matches organised through the platform, including but not limited to:
- Physical injuries or accidents on or off the court.
- Property damage.
- Disputes or conflicts between users.
- Any other incident arising from in-person contact between users.
Each user is solely responsible for their choices regarding meeting other users. We recommend knowing your opponent, meeting in a public place and not proceeding if you feel any uncertainty.
5. Score & Match Integrity (players 18+)
- Each player is required to record the actual result of the match.
- Deliberate falsification of scores is a violation and may result in a penalty or account suspension.
- If the two players' scores disagree, the match is placed in dispute and reviewed by the admin.
- Multiple negative reports from opponents may result in an ATT penalty.
6. User Conduct
- Harassment, insults or any aggressive behaviour towards other users is prohibited.
- Sharing false or misleading information is prohibited.
- Violation of the terms results in suspension or permanent removal, at the admin's discretion. Users may request a review of the decision by emailing maripapanikola@gmail.com.
7. Intellectual Property & Content Licence
All software, design and platform content that is not user-generated belongs to tomaraki. and is protected by intellectual property law.
By posting photos, posts or any other content on the platform, you grant tomaraki. a non-exclusive, royalty-free, non-transferable licence to display, store and distribute the content solely within the platform and for its operational purposes. You retain full copyright over your content. Upon deletion of your account, this licence automatically terminates.
8. Platform Operation & Limitation of Liability
The platform is provided "as is", to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. tomaraki. is not liable for:
- Temporary or permanent loss of access (downtime) due to maintenance, technical failure or force majeure.
- Data loss due to technical errors.
- Inaccuracies in the ATT rating caused by user entry errors.
- Any indirect or consequential damage arising from use or inability to use the platform.
9. Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, users will be notified by email or in-platform notification at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after modified Terms take effect constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Greek law and EU legislation (GDPR, etc.). The courts of Athens shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms.
